Belonging to the same series for the common decorative theme and the use of the same kind of enamels, the interior of the two dishes with a Daoist immortal together with a young attendant, the scenes taking place in an open space with rocks, trees and lingzhi funguses.
The Duca di Martina Museum in Villa La Floridiana in Naples houses a wonderful collection of Chinese Art.
Created by Placido de Sangro (1829-1891) in the second half of the nineteenth century, it is certainly one of the most important in Italy and Europe, with outstanding examples of porcelain, cloisonné, bronzes and carvings, dating from Yuan to Qing dynasties.
