The three vases with slender ovoid body and domed cover, a decoration of birds and flowers to the exterior of the body and the top of the cover.

‘Birds and flowers’ decoration was one of the favourite subject on porcelain produced during the Kangxi reign, much appreciated also by Europeans who were curious about the still mysterious Chinese flora and fauna.
