A WUCAI ENAMELLED VASE

The baluster shaped vase is decorated in wucai palette with a dignitary accompanied by three attendants, one holding a canopy and the other a lantern. All standing in a fenced garden, with the scene divided by rockwork with a partially revealed pagoda roof. The neck is decorated with a border of blue spots typical to the early Kangxi period, below the neck with floral sprays growing from rockwork.
