A cup and saucer with a similar subject of a a rooster and a hen copulating si in the Princesshof Ceramics Museum in Leeuwarden (inv. QNO 02376).
The Duca di Martina Museum in Villa La Floridiana in Naples houses a wonderful collection of Chinese Art.
Created by Placido de Sangro (1829-1891) in the second half of the nineteenth century, it is certainly one of the most important in Italy and Europe, with outstanding examples of porcelain, cloisonné, bronzes and carvings, dating from Yuan to Qing dynasties.
