A PAIR OF ‘BLUE AND WHITE’ BOTTLE VASES

The body of both the bottles moulded with six leaf-shaped panels alternating a composition with flowers and rocks to a composition with flowers in a vase, the cylindrical neck with floral sprays and a pair of dragon head handles with loose rings, an artemisia (aiye) leaf inside two concentric circles to the centre of the base.
Similar bottle vases were in the collection of Augustus the Strong (1670-1733), now in the Porzellansammlung in Dresden (inv. 2365, 2367).
