A similar decoration can be seen on a number of vases with the same cylindrical shape: Philadelphia Museum (Leonard Gow Collection: R. L. Van Campen, Chinese Ceramics in the Collection of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. The Ming and Qing Dynasties, London 1997, p. 107, n. 102), Calouste Gulbenkian Museum in Lisbon (M.A. Pinto de Matos, Chinese Porcelain in the Calouste Gulbenkian Collection, Lisbon 2003, pp. 66-69, n. 10), Princesshof Museum, Leeuwarden (inv. NO 02211), Porzellansammlung, Dresden (inv. PO 7086).
The same decorative scheme was contemporary conducted also using the polychrome enamels of the ‘Famille Verte’ (see J. Ayers, Chinese and Japanese Works of Art in the Collection of Her Majesty The Queen, 2 voll. London 2016, I, p. 242, n. 515).
