The body moulded with hexagonal and pentagonal cells, each of them with a painted floral spray, the external rim of the mouth with a band of diagonal lines, the lower side of the cover underlined by a gilt bronze ring attached to the upper section of the curved handle with a metal plate surmounted by a trigger shaped as an in the round lion.

The two-character zhen wen mark could be translated as “precious object”.
